Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 24, 2025
When we say “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us” in this document, we are referring to Pixby Media AB.
When we say “Track⋅ish” or “the app”, we are referring to the Track⋅ish mobile application and any related services operated by Pixby Media AB.
“You” or “your” refers to the individuals using Track⋅ish or visiting our websites.
What we collect and why
In short:
- We don’t sell your data.
- We don’t track you across other apps or websites.
- We don’t use third-party analytics or advertising trackers in the app.
- Your app data lives primarily in your own iCloud account.
- Some AI features may send anonymized data to a third-party AI provider to make the feature work.
1. App data (what you log in Track⋅ish)
When you use Track⋅ish, you may choose to store information such as:
- Weight and goal weight
- Activity level and basic profile information (e.g., age, height, sex)
- Daily calorie targets and progress
- Meal and food entries (including any text you type, or photos/voice you submit if using AI features)
- With your permission, we send some data to Apple HealthKit.
How this is stored:
- Your personal data in the app is stored using Apple’s iCloud infrastructure and is primarily tied to your own iCloud account.
- We do not run our own separate database with your food diary or weight history.
- Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy policy apply to the storage and syncing of this data.
Why we collect this:
- To provide the core functionality of Track⋅ish: tracking your intake, goals, and progress.
- To calculate calorie targets and show you your own trends and statistics.
2. AI-assisted features (camera, voice, and text)
Track⋅ish may offer AI-powered features to make logging easier, for example:
- Interpreting a photo of a meal
- Turning a voice note or free text into a structured meal entry
How this works:
- When you use these features, the relevant input (such as text, short phrases, or an image) may be sent to a third-party AI provider for processing.
- We aim to send only the minimum data needed to perform the requested task.
- We do not attach direct identifiers (like your name, email, or Apple ID) to this data.
- The AI provider processes the data to return a result (for example, an estimated meal description or calorie estimate), which is then stored in your app data.
We do not:
- Use AI providers to build a profile of you for advertising.
- Sell or share your AI inputs or outputs for marketing purposes.
The third-party AI provider will process data according to its own terms and privacy policy. We select providers that emphasize security and privacy and design our use of AI so that the processing is as anonymous and unlinkable to your identity as reasonably possible.
3. Website interactions
If you visit our website or marketing pages for Track⋅ish, some limited technical information may be logged automatically by the hosting provider, such as:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Basic device information
- Date and time of request
- Pages requested and basic error logs
How we use this:
- To keep the site running reliably and securely (e.g., preventing abuse, diagnosing issues).
- To understand overall traffic in a very general way.
We do NOT:
- Use third-party analytics tools (like Google Analytics) to track your behavior across sites.
- Run advertising or tracking pixels for behavioral ads.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Our goal is to avoid unnecessary tracking cookies. Any cookies or similar storage used in connection with Track⋅ish or our website are limited to what is needed for:
- Basic site or service functionality (for example, remembering simple preferences), or
- What your browser, hosting provider, or app store platform sets by default.
We do not use cookies or similar technologies to build advertising profiles or track you across other websites.
You can manage cookie and tracking preferences in your browser and device settings. For more information about cookies generally, you can visit resources such as www.allaboutcookies.org.
5. Voluntary correspondence
When you contact us (for example, by emailing hello@pixby.se):
- We store your message, email address, and any information you voluntarily provide so that we can respond and have context for future support.
- We may keep a history of support conversations to better understand and solve recurring issues.
If we conduct customer interviews:
- We may ask for your permission to record the conversation for internal reference.
- We only record with your explicit consent.
- Recordings and notes are used to improve Track⋅ish and are not sold or shared for advertising.
How we approach mobile app permissions
Track⋅ish may request access to:
- Network access (to sync data, check subscriptions, and use AI features).
- Camera and photo library (for meal photos or AI-based image understanding).
- Microphone (for voice-based logging, if available).
- Notifications (to send reminders, if you enable them).
Our approach:
- We ask for permission just-in-time, when you try to use a feature that needs it.
- You decide whether to grant or deny each permission.
- You can revoke permissions at any time in your device settings.
It is not possible for Track⋅ish to use a sensitive OS feature (such as the camera or microphone) without your explicit permission. Some features may not work, or may work with reduced functionality, if you do not grant a particular permission.
When we access or share your information
Our default is simple: we do not access or share your personal app data unless it’s clearly needed and lawful.
We may access or share your information only in the following situations:
1. To provide the service or features you request
- We use third-party services as part of operating Track⋅ish (for example, app store billing, crash reporting provided by the operating system, and AI providers).
- These third parties may process limited data as part of their role but no personal data is shared.
- We only share what is necessary for the specific function.
2. To help you with support, with your permission
- If we ever need more detailed technical information to troubleshoot a problem, we will ask for your permission before accessing any relevant data (for example, diagnostic logs).
- We do not casually browse your logs, data, or iCloud content.
3. To investigate, prevent, or take action regarding misuse
- In rare cases, if we reasonably suspect abuse, fraud, or security issues, we may need to review certain data in order to protect Track⋅ish, our users, or others.
- This is a last resort and is guided by the principle of using the minimum information necessary.
4. When required by law
- We may need to disclose certain information if we are legally required to do so, for example:
- In response to a valid court order or other lawful request from authorities.
- In response to an audit by tax or regulatory authorities.
- In such cases, we disclose only what is legally required and try to limit the scope as much as possible.
5. Business transfers
- If Track⋅ish or Pixby Media AB is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- If this happens, we will notify you in advance and any new owner will be required to respect this Privacy Policy or a successor policy with at least comparable protections.
How we secure your data
- App data: Your personal app data is stored primarily in your iCloud account, and Apple provides encryption and security measures for data at rest and in transit according to their own policies.
- Network connections: When data is transmitted between the app, our services, or AI providers, we use secure connections (e.g., HTTPS/SSL/TLS) where applicable.
- Access control: We limit access to any systems or tools that may process your information to those who need it for legitimate reasons (such as support or maintenance), and we aim to minimize that access in general.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information and choose partners with strong security practices.
Location of site and data
- Track⋅ish relies primarily on Apple’s iCloud infrastructure to store your app data. Apple may store and process this data in data centers located in the EU, the US, or other regions, according to their own policies and agreements.
- Our website and other supporting services may also be hosted in the EU or other regions.
If we transfer or allow access to personal data outside the EU/EEA, we aim to ensure it is protected with appropriate safeguards, such as:
- Standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, and/or
- Participation in relevant international data protection frameworks by our providers, where applicable.
Your rights and choices (especially if you’re in the EU/EEA or similar jurisdictions)
Depending on your local laws, you may have rights such as:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we have about you.
- Rectification: Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of certain data, subject to legal and technical limitations.
- Restriction or objection: Request that we limit or stop certain processing.
- Data portability: Request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
Because most of your Track⋅ish data is stored directly in your own iCloud account, many actions (like deleting or exporting data) can be managed directly via:
- The app itself (e.g., deleting entries), and
- Your device and iCloud settings.
If you have questions about your rights or want help exercising them, you can contact us at hello@pixby.se.
Children’s privacy
Track⋅ish is not designed or marketed for children under the age where they can lawfully provide consent to data processing in their jurisdiction without parental approval. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information in a way that violates applicable law, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to address it.
Changes & questions
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to:
- Reflect changes in Track⋅ish or our practices.
- Comply with new legal or regulatory requirements.
When we make significant changes, we will provide notice in a reasonable way, such as:
- In the app, or
- On our website.
Your continued use of Track⋅ish after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
